What size piping

what size piping do you have going to your collector and then up to the turbo. I know they say that velocity is key here but would a larger up pipe help the air flow?

Discuss.

I used 2" tubing off the collector of the stock maxima manifold and when both 2" pipes came together for the merge I used 2.5" up to the actual turbo it's self.
Any less primary would be restrictive any more would lessen speed. 2.5" to the turbo is good for 9's with a GN so can't say that's restrictive for our application.
Just my experience.

Our turbo manifolds are like 5-10 times as long as others people so I don't think you want them to big. Aftermarket y-pipe has 2.25 inch piping that collects into 2.5 inch piping. I guess you could use a bigger collector I don't know what size the flange opening is where you mount the turbo.
