The thing that makes me think it will fit is i think iansw actually has or atleast had a V2 blower on a V1 bracket. I'm pretty sure he did. I know someone did so its definitely doable, just not sure if extra work was involved.

Well, I won a bid on ebay for a v2 blower. The description says E-trim? I wonder if that is just an error because there is no E-trim on vortech's site. Aynone have a reasuring answer .... It is suposed to be barely used, I hope.

Yes, look at the 4th line down: http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/...s/scmatrix.pdf

Impeller speed of 65,000 rpm. 1200 cfm, 825 hp, 76% efficiency.

Looks like a good find!

Are you saying its the wrong rotation because of the picture shown because vortech offers the E -trim in clockwise and counter clockwise. This is what happens when you let the wife go christmas shopping without you !! I really hope this is in my favor. No more over spin for me not that I ever had any yet..

What does STD/HD mean.

The picture shows a blower with clockwise rotation. Vortech makes both CW and CCW blowers, but because of the way we mount our blowers we need CCW.

we could run different vortech blowers as long as they are the v2/v2 model? so it could be any trim level.

Would you guys go for the v2 sq-sc trim or if this e-trim is ccw go ahead and do that? Stephen you said you got the headers and made almost 350whp, what size pulley are you runnig?

I think the front pipe helped. It resulted in a 30 deg drop in intake temp (I have an intake air temp gauge, so I'm not guessing about that), with only about .2 psi drop in boost pressure. Lowering intake temps 30 deg is good for 3% increase in power. That comes out to 10 hp.

I like the rpm capacity of the e-trim. It would go great with a raised rev limit and small pulley without worrying about over-revving the blower.

I'm running an ASP 3" pulley. 12 psi at 7200 rpm, V1 blower.

A phone number too would be cool

It's a special order item. I don't think they have a part number for it. I don't have the phone number handy, but I bet you could find it if you did a google search. They are in San Antonio, TX.

Here's their email addy: asp@aspracing.com
