Maximum crank HP on stock internals

What do you guys think the 3.5l VQ can handle, at the crank, on stock internals?

350Z guys seem to be blowing up theirs at around 400whp - 450whp, although some have gotten a little more out of it.

I know one guy who put out 463 on stock internals back like two months ago and was running it that way for a few months. He's was putting in a built VQ last week.

I don't know. This was a discussion on another board.

1st thing I would find out, is how much timing advance the 350 has and what the maxima has.

2nd, find out if the intake manifold on the maxima is similar to the 350. The 350's have a problem with them.

3rd.. tuning is a mother. That will hold a motor more than just about anything.

I like most everyone see the 350/G holding 350-400 WHP.
