How's he going to put his stock Ypipe back on if he's got a turbo? Unless he has some weird turbo piping setup that uses an aftermarket ypipe as its shape.

i believe if you have all your emissions components on (EGR, cat - in good shape) and no crazy cams you should be ok.

Well I don't know this particular guy's setup but on most if you remove the Ypipe that feeds exhaust to the turbo, you have to remove the turbo, which means undoing all the fittings, bringing it back to stock tune, etc. Seems like alot of work. Basically he would have to uninstall his turbo kit.

Depends on your emissions test, but I was able to pass
(with highflow cat and no muffler)

You'll want to make sure your idle and cruising tune is good.

the exact specs of the test haven't been released but I am planning on a hi flow cat. Its time for the test pipe to go. I just renewed, so there is a year to get it right.
Hal you made my day thanks

my dad has this trick, it got his old chevy astro to pass emisions, dump in a munch of ethanol into your gas tank, you can buy it at a local hardware store, o and run your car on the highway right before at around 80mph for like 15 min and your gaurenteed to pass, this thing would smoke like no other, and it passed,
