It should spool better then a straight GT35R due to the smaller turbine wheel, but cause a bit more backpressure.
I'd really like to compare this to Nigels' PFI kit with the modified GT35R to see how it helps spool even more.

When you buy a Turbo kit, you want to put quite a bit of the money on the turbo part of it. I think it would be worth it to spend more for a good turbo and wait for some of the smaller stuff until later.
Same compressor wheel, so the map will be the same. Although, Garrett typically uses the middle size A/R housing when flow testing it, so it would be slightly different stuffed into a T04S housing.

Not that expensive.....take a look at HKS for the EXACT same turbos you pay double that just for the name.

That's the roughly the same price for your average T4/60-1 BB you get as the upgrade from PFI so it's not expensive when you consider it's a GT turbo w/ dual ball bearings versus the retrofit that Turbonetics does versus the complete center section.
The fact that it is more or less a direct bolt on for Shadow's car is intriguing though. The turbine housing seems to extend a bit more but we could probably just chop and reweld the downpipe to make it fit. Been slacking off w/ Shadow's car a bit since it's too cold to work on it but w/ a few dyno days coming up we'll see if we reach the limits of the T3/60-1 at 10psi within a few weeks.
I would think the BB and more efficient compressor would be nice to have once we're in the 12-15psi range.
