Warpspeed Test Pipe
Warpspeed 2.5 B pipe

Do runs with the cutout open and closed, for comparison.

Just under guessing. I don't see 350 but I sure hope you get it.
Not sure how much the cut out gives you???

What?!?!?! When did this happen?

I want to go. We need to get a whole group going.

Why didn't you come to BWW last night? There was like 9 4th gens but the 5th gens were flaking out.

Yeah i am just hoping to see the same results from the cuttout as I would see with 3inch exhaust. Stephenmax hit like 340 something with a similar setup( except he is running a smaller pulley). Owell just wishful thinking

are you on stock ecu, injectors? What base fuel pressure are you running if you have an adjustable FPR? And what FMU disc are you running? I am asking because I am running the same pulley, and also use an SAFC-II to tune, and I am having troubles tuning my car, so I am interested as to what you will pull.....I am guessing 326whp. I am sorry if these are dumb questions but I am not familiar with your set up other than what you posted.

If you have the cutout, does the test pipe and b pipe matter?

No it's not a dumb question. I have stock ecu, running stock injectors right now(I have to install the RC 440cc) , and i have to install my SARD FPR. Right now i am running the 8:1 disk.

Also i hope you get your tunning issues worked out. Are you running a adj FPR. I assume you are but just wanted to make sure.

Well it is a boost activated cuttout and is set to open at 5psi. So i guess it will only matter on one are of the curve on the dyno sheet.

Yeah frosty didn't go. His car being in the shop and all. I went and it was pretty cool. Bobby came in the parking lot kind of fast and some people tried to yell at us. Some of those people are getting pretty hostile.

I tried to call you but as usual you didn't answer. Oh well. Let me know when you are going to dyno. I may just go to watch if I can't get one or two passes myself. I think I am going to the track next wednesday. Frosty and I leave for colorado early next saturday morning so I may or may not be at BWW next thursday. I will try to go though.

I'll bet you'll be between 260whp-290whp.

[maxi-dose] running a 2.87 did 260ish@10psi with automatic and Y2KevSE did 302ish@11psi with automatic. [maxi-dose] wasn't tuned, but Kev was.

Alright i will do that. You really think i will still be under 300whp? I would think that the headers and exhaust cuttout will yeild some significant gains.

Just being Negative Nancy, since breaking 300whp seems to be a WALL, even if you have all your pieces lined up.

This guy has poor tuning, 2.87" 13psi pulley, fmu, catback, and a ypipe and didn't break 300whp: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=369324

So, knock off his 2psi ~20whp VS your headers/his ypipe and your cutout/ his catback should be close.

Good luck and depending on which way the correction factor goes, if you're over 300whp, you deserve the $20.

Also, one of these days you should toss that cross over pipe and make yourself a CAI for another 10whp/1psi at least.

I know, i always think negative since i always get screwed on things. Didn't Stephenmax gain a good bit of power from the headers?

281whp. I don't mean to be negative but there are turbocharged 5 speeds that aren't putting out much more than 350hp, and you're a supercharged auto...

Once again the 19" rims are not going to boost your numbers on the dyno.

Yeah you should be putting down something up there.

It will be higher than mine, for now .

Have you checked your VIAS? If not it would be a good idea before you go and find out it's dead.

are we talking SAE corrected #'s, actual un-corrected#'s, or Standard #'s.
SAE is what we use in Virginia, and it just so happens to give you the lowest #'s
good luck, i hope you join us in the 300hp crew

well guys it seems that everything has gone against me this week so i will have to reschedule. First off i got sick as a dog this week and then cuttout atp sent me seems to be malfunctioning. I opened the valve wtih my hand and now the valve will not close all the way. Is it possible that when i opened it the actuator built up presssure inside it keeping it from closing all the way?

If it did, it isn't working right. Can you apply a vacuum to it and see if it shuts all the way?

it needs boost to open and you dont get boost by just reving the engine. the engine has to under a load to make boost
