If they were black face I'd take the boost off you. I'm gonna snag some at the Jefferson swap meet. Last year my buddy got an autometer mechanical boost gauge for $5 brand new.

well, since the blower is out right now, i dont have any real reason to keep it.

i just need a single pod for my fuel pressure gauge. i might go with a dual and have an ambient air temp, but i really dont need a triple. brings too much attention.

I agree. Sadly, any pillar gauges draw way to much attention. Both cop and rice. I plan on putting my boost gauge where the stock coolant temp gauge is. I'd like to try to run with only that but having A/F easily visible is important. Any gauges besides the boost I'll put in the Din slot.

Autometer actually sells individual cups that can be placed almost anywhere.

I think a single pod sitting somewhere looks tacky. I plan on making my clock area into a guage housing. I removed the clock and I don't drive when its cold so I clipped the wires on the Rear defrost. The only switch I still need are the flashers and I can relocate that. I'm going to glass it into a three gauge setup sometime next winter.

i was thinking more along the lines of trying to get one of those steering column pieces to work.

im trying to get a hold of my friend that does fiberglassing so we can make a custom mount for all the new toys.

I hear ya, I put a toggle switch on my pillar gauge lights, so they aren't so conspicuous at night.

thats what i like about my new gauges.

http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...56&prmenbr=361

theyre cheap, have good sending units, have memory and have black faces that cant really be recognized.

Nice! They are really reasonable too. I had that "gotta match the dash gauges" thing going when I bought mine.

Those are very nice. I was looking for those. Prices aren't too bad especially with sending units. I have the red interior light thing too so I think I'll skip the $5 swap meet gauges.
