question about boost

question about boost

with a turbo charger on a fourth gen...

lets say I had a boost contoller, is it possible to turn the boost off, just as if i was running naturally aspirated? (for sleeper fun and saving on gas mileage)

the only thing close to that would be to shift before spool up, other than that, No.

You could set the wastegate to stay open all the time...

on the wastegate note how many people are routing the dump tube into the down pipe? I read that it effects the velocity of the gases. Also has anyone one heard of putting a throttle like plate there?
