Fuel Rail Modification

Next week, I was planning on going down to Elkhart to Scott's (Boosted Maxima's) Shop so we could do the fuel modification on the VQ that he did on his VG. I thought that I would mock up a schematic. Does anyone have any positives or negatives that could come of it?

I put everything on one page so you could compare the two.

Top is OEM, bottom is the Mod.

Looks good! What kind of FPR do you have?

By the way, give me a call when you get here.

Yep.. that looks correct.

Your coming Friday still?
I just installed the Z32MAF... Calling Bernard tomorrow to update everything.
I've got the 3/8 fittings here and the hose. I had to go back to 5/16.. it fit better. But my system is working out fine

i have it wired in (except the o2 sensor and the egt probe), but no one wanted to sell me an apexi stand so the lcd screen isnt in the place where it will be mounted. if you can get ahold of one for me, i will post up the final pics. i will send jordan some of the ones that i have already.

Slimer: What kind of Apexi stand do you need? The little gray metal bracket? I have one I didn't use for my AVC-r. Let me know if this is what you're needing.

We can always go get the parts we need once you get here so we aren't guessing.
This way of doing your fuel rails won't change your air fuel ratio or your pressure.
It will give more volume of fuel to each rail more evenly than stock and allow more consistant pressure at each injector for consistancy.
I'll try to get a chance this week to pull the plenum off the parts car I have (VG) and have it ready for you to see what I did to check out air flow through the uppper/lower plenums so you can do the same some time with yours. Or if we've got to pull it to do the fuel rail then we can test yours too.
Bring Chech and Chong... should not be a problem.. Plenty of room at the shop.

I appreciate the help! I'm going to email you so I can get directions. Remember, I do not like turning left, cuz my control arm is still bent (maybe I should take care of that before I come down.)

Brad, you coming to the shop friday too?
