I was just curious on what size intercoolers you guys have fit into the max.
I was looking a 30 inch long, 8 inch high, 2.75 width one.

 

I think I've gotten the biggest one in. 12 high, 24 wide 3 thick. I had to grind off a bit of the backside of the bumper to get it in, and loosten the AC compressor/radiator thingy (whatever it's called), so it sits loose between the intercooler and radiator. the power steering cooler had to move too. with the end tanks on, it's about 31" long.

If you want to keep the bumper support you can't go more than 6" or 7" high. keep the length from 30"-24". I have a 26x6x3, but it is not installed yet so I can't comment of the fittment but I want to keep the bumper support

I suggest taking some cardborad and mocking one up.

 

I fit a 28.5 end tank to end tank by 8 by 3. Pics of the intercooler and install on my site.

 

Cool, thanks guys! I think im going to go with a 30X 6.5 tall X 3.125 from Johnnyracecar.com He seems to have good prices and a good product. Im getting down to all the fine tuning and making a final list of products for the turbo project. I just still cant decide on my turbo!
