Guys,

Well, my SC will be arriving next Wednesday (finally!) and right off the bat, I'm throwing on a 3.25" pulley. I already have purchased it. :-) So, my question is, do you guys prefer the Gates or the Goodyear Gatorback belt?

At Autozone, they only carry the Goodyear's. If you guys say Gates, where have you bought yours from?

Now onto the power steering belt......

I've bought the UR lightened crank pulley. Upon arrival, the instruction mention that the power steering pulley is slightly smaller, thus underdriven.

Do any of you guys have experience with this? Do I need a new belt? If so, please point me in the right direction. This question may be a little premature since I haven't got under the car yet or checked the FSM.... for all I know, there could be a self tensioner or adjustment that can take up the slack.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Contact JDMMAX if you want a Power Enterprise kevlar reinforced belt. The PS belt can be kept the same, just need to readjust the tensioner.

 

Larrio. Thanks for the good info. Excuse my ingnorance, but is the PE kevlar reinforced belt really better than the Gates and the Goodyear? Could you tell me a little bit more about the belt? Thank you.
