I certainly haven't heard of or seen anyone with this thing yet. I guess I'm posting this to make people aware. But I'm also curious as to what, "opening to relieve unwanted pressure during deceleration." means exactly. Is this what people have been trying to do for a while to making "peak" boost at a lower RPM? What is the -4AN fitting for? I wonder if it sounds good. I wish they would give dimensions though.

very nice unit.

The quote is basically saying that once it senses vacuum, it opens (just like every other BOV). Deceleration basically means that you have lifted you foot off the pedal.

My guess for the AN fitting is that some people are making SS or teflon line (just like a nitrous feed line) as their BOV vacuum supply.

I have to agree. I guess their advertising department had to say something to justify the price. Does look nice, though.

While We Are On The Subject...i Dont Mean To Go Too Off Topic But Is There A Significant Advantage To Having A Recirc. Valve Instead Of A Bov? It Seems That In Everyday Driving There Wouldnt Be But When Running At The Dragstrip It Makes Sense That A Recirc. Valve Would Be Better Since Essentially You Wouldnt Be Wasting Boost?

I think that generally a recirc. valve is intended for cars with a draw through set-up, the MAF on the intake side. I have heard of some justifying a recirc. with the "faster spool up" argument, but I have run both draw-through and blow-through set-ups on my car and noticed no difference in spool up. I think the lack of restriction after I moved the MAF was comparable to the recirculating boost with the MAF there. This is not on a MAX though, which uses a much less restrictive MAF.

I think the difference between recirc and BOV is negligable at our boost levels. Really its not wasting boost cause it releases pressure either way. The main concern I have for the issue is sound. I'm not looking for extreme power like some of you crazy motha's.
