Fuel Mileage????

Alright with 3.33 pulley and all stock set-up Except bypassed t-rex pump and holley intank pump with intercooler I got 400 miles to a tank. Now that I have all the same stuff and a 2.87 i am seeing maybe 250 to tank? Lets here some ideas???

I am doing 550 and emanage and haven't been boosting much because I don't believe the 240cc and stock fmu can handle it! although one run was 9.5 psi.

I have never gotten over 350 to a tank even when my car was bone stock.

with my 2.87 I get 280-300 depending on how much I boost.

How's that intercooler working for ya? Did it help much?

On long road trips is it possible to just remove the crossover peice? The drag from the blower would still be there but at least it wouldn't be throwing in all that extra fuel at 75MPH which is what, 3300 in 5th?

FYI, its fuel economy or gas mileage.

you wont lose that much fuel when you are driving on a road trip because you arent really seeing boost so the car is not really expending that much more fuel.

Well with an auto your aren't seeing boost at highway speed. I don't know yet what 75MPH puts you in 5th. Especially with a sub 3 inch pulley you gotta be seeing a couple pounds by 3500.

Im 5spd and I dont see any boost at highway speeds...even up around 80-90 i dont see any cruising...the minute I push down for some juice thats when I see boost

My milage is suc*y now cause Im running rich with the Cartech but when Im tuned with 370's and JWT, I should be alright

the intercooller is working really well I'll have the whole set-up tuned and dynoed sometime in April I believe. I am expecting 300-350, but it may be more. I am also thinking of redoing one of pipes that has a lot of bends in it.
Overall I love the intercooler.

i just took a 330 mile trip this past weekend and rolled back home on fumes. so that equates to about 22mpg. normal driving i am usually right at 20mpg. (280-300 miles to the tank)

At 1/2 throttle you're usually still in vacuum anyway.

example: I boost at 2800RPM or so - on the freeway in 5th Gear I'm still in vacuum when cruising even though my RPM is well above that.

The SC however is making boost, as I can tell because the BOV leaks when cruising...pssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss sssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhh.
