i was wondering if neone has the WGT35-40R82 turbo and since it is just goin to come with that does neone kno how i can make an intercooler, or where to get sum of the parts and nething else i might need. thks for reading. i have a 98 max

yea and where to find an intercooler that would match up with the turbo. cause i don't kno neone that bends pipe and i'm thinking about just calling greddy or jimwolftech to see if they'll make me one

 

u can buy a nice bar/plate intercooler off ebay, then just have a shop bend/weld you the piping for it, should be pretty cheap. greddy or JWT will just rip you off.

intercooler piping fabrication would not be real easy or cheap. You would have to buy many different types of mandrel bends, figure out how you want to route the cold and hot side and how your gonna get to the TB while making room for the turbo and everything else. The intercooler piping could be harder to fab than the exhaust.


If a person really wants to turbo their maxima, I mean really is going to do it. Not just some pipe dream and a $1000 budget the very first thing I would do is donate so get the search function and read, read, read. Go to other car sites with good forced induction sections and read, read, read. If you can't or won't pay $20 to search then there is no way your gonna drop the cash on a turbo maxima.
