I have a vortec sc and my car idle stays at 500 rpm after its warm and then keeps jumping up and down almost turning off what can i do about this

 

Maybe a vacuum leak? Or a leak close to the MAF? My car has a rough idle when my charge piping isn't snug up against the maf O-ring seal, even though it's before the MAF, something about the turbulence or whatever causes the idle to be weird.

 

Not being given a lot of information on your setup and if you had recently changed anything or just put in the SC.....


Turn up the idle speed at the throttle body so that it is almost 700 rpm. The car is supposed to idle around 650 stock (depending if auto or manual).
