Air/Fuel setup question

Does the FMU regulate the base FP, or does it only adjust fuel when boost is present?

Im trying to figure out my A/f setup... Im curious if a Z32 MAF, 370cc Injectors, 255 Walbro, and a Super FMU ( and maybe a safc2 or emange) would be a good setup to run. Or if I need an AFPR in addition to control base pressure at start and idles>?

Ive been reading post and trying to figure it out, but theres so many different theories and setups floating around..

Thanks

An FMU only increases fuel pressure when it sees boost. I don't know how well that setup will work for you, but my guess is that you will need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, since installing a Walbro pump will raise your base FP.

What FMU do you have? If you have a the regular Vortec or the Cartech. Then you will neet a ajustable fuel pressure regulator.

but....

if you have the vortech superfmu, you dont need and extra afpr because it is built into the unit itself.
