I got a quote today for turbo piping, this is what im getting full 3 inch stainless steel reverse y pipe, full stanless steel 3 inch downpipe and full stainless steel catback 3 inches, mild steel intercooler piping at 2.5 inches and the turbo air intake piping ( im gona get them powdercoated), and im getting a high flow cat, the bov flange, the 02 sensor bongs on the pipes, and hes gonna mount my front mount intercooler. Now all this is costing me 1700-1800$ what do you guys think, good deal or a bit expensive?
even if you get it powdercoated, it still chips when you install it. its an ok price, but make sure fitment is correct. you dont want to lose a ton of ground clearance, especially with PennDOT's crappy roads.
not too bad, is it all mandrel bent? With all the accessories it should put it in the ballpark figure of what an upgraded PFI kit would cost, depending on which turbo you decide to go with.
yeah i think its a pretty fair price considering hes allso gonna install my intecooler for me, and it is all stainless steel piping except the intecooler piping......im sure im gonna go with him, but i have one more shop i wanna get a quote from. Ill let you guys know what they say.

im just want all my projects to be done.
Is a 3 inch reverse y pipe gonna be to big to fit? I was thinking that since im running a t4/t60-1 id go with the bigger reverse pipe
Maybe get a 2.5 inch reverse y and get the downpipe and the rest of the exhaust 3"? better alternative?

Steve, are you thinking about a turbo now? If you want something, I have a bit of spare 3" piping laying around.

I think that is a decent price for all of that in SS if it is indeed mandrel bent. I imagine it would be cheaper and just as effective to use a 2.5" SS budget or warpspeed y-pipe and weld it into the reverse Y. No reason to have that custom made.
Since this guy is gonna have to do all this fabrication anyhow, might as well look into doing a different and more direct set-up than a reverse Y.

The room was pretty tight with just 2.5 reverse y pipe.
