370cc injector question

either in may or june im taking my car into the local shop to start on a turbo project. In order to save money on labor, im doing what I can myself before taking it into the shop. Since im going to be replacing the vtc's I would like to go ahead and put in the 370 injectors while i have everything apart. So the question is.... how will my car react with the bigger injectors and everything else stock? and what happens if i throw a bigger fuel pump into the mix? Just curious and trying to save a buck or two and would rather drive it then tow it. any input would be appreciated.

if you can drop base fuel pressure or put the z32 maf in (maybe both) it might not be too bad

I can't tell you what will happen with the stock MAF, I have a Z32 maf and drive with 400 cc injectors, and a bigger fuel pump and no boost daily.

The biggest issue is during cold weather start ups. If it's below 40 deg, I have to feather the gas while starting and keep the rpm up around 1300+. Or the car will flood and stall out. And then it's a PITA to restart

This is what I have; 370cc injectors, 300zxtt MAF and 300zxtt fuel pump. Would I need a FPR as well? and if so what would you recommend?

I have the 255 fuel pump in, and just bought 400s off sleeper, and looking for the z32 MAF, but just with the fuel pump in, at idle im running 17.9:1 A/f mix according to my apexi turbo timer, as soon as the gas is depressed it falls and stays around 14-15...

So like they said, if you could adjust base pressure with a FPR it would probably help, but it you are going to be boosting soon, maybe consider the SFMU from Vortech.(Anyone know with that if you can adjust base pressure? I know it controls it to a lower pressure, just not sure if you can adjust. If so, a SFMU may do the trick.)

oblong-The sfmu can adjust base fuel pressure if you're planning on installing it now. If you run the 400s and the z32 maf, it shouldnt be too different.

you will have to drop your base fuel pressure to like 32 or 30 to run the 370cc injectors with a safc to control them on a stock ecu.im sorry thats for a vg you may not have to drop it that much . but an safc will help you out a lot

Awesome, thanks for the info

I think ive decided to just put the injectors in @ the turbo shop....as i wouldnt have a clue on how to tune it with the SAFC...and wouldnt want to mess anything up on the 800 mile trip from iowa to denver. I figure I'll let them do it and watch and learn.
