what do you need to know? there was only one 5.5 gen turbo and most of the other 5th gens (dixit, alex) dont really post anymore.

Hnda Eatr (sp?) is currently prototyping the ssr/sfr kit.

h2kfrosty isn't on much either. His car is in a shop waiting. He is trying to get enough money to get the turbo kit done.

I know the VQ30DE-K motor is supposed to be slightly stronger than the already strong VQ30DE so I wouldn't worry about the motor until after you blow one from power and not some AFR problems.

I know there are a few more 5th gens that are SCed. Personally I don't see there being too many problems that those SCed 5th gen ppl or anyone else who knows about boost can't tell you.

No, no you can't. Well, I have to qualify that statement with no you can't unless you can fabricate. But even then the fuel management alone will probably put you above $2500. If you want to go fast for cheap(er) then look into a nitrous system, but please do your homework so you don't blow your motor

You should be able to find a used SC kit for around $2500 in the for sale section... just keep your eyes peeled, cuz people are selling them pretty regularly...

A used SC is a good start. They tend to last and are not too expensive if they are need to rebuild. You will not run twelves without some serious stuff though. Slicks will be needed most likely, maybe nitrous.

Cheap and boost don't go together.
