Turbo question??

How much did you guys get ur turbos put on for? i have a friend that owns a shop and says for 2 grand he'll drop a T6 in my car. another question, are turbos legit on an automatic? will it mess up my car, i dont plan to race all over miami, i just like knowing im fast. i barely ever drive at WOT ever! i dont push it much. i have 120,000 miles on my 96 but its in great condition. let me know guys, im just scared that if i get it it'll just cause problems left and right that ive never had til this point.

I wouldn't deal with any shop that wanted to put a T6 in your car. And I am sure you know that the 2K is probably for the install, not the parts.

If you don't want to use the power then don't spend the time and money on a turbo.

Wow a t6 eh? Wanna spin wheels in 5th gear still dont ya lol. If your not gonna use the power dont get into turboing your car. A turbo install shouldnt cost you more then 800$. THe turbo setup itself might cost you anywhere from 3000 to 7000 like mine, im almost at 7k. I suggest you read up more on turbos adn what our cars can handle before you jump into this. Take baby steps dont run forward.
