Weird Idle

Ive had this ever since I installed my blower and Im just posting about it not...after the car warms up completely, the engine doenst want to idle properly. It Osilates up and down but not much, maybe 150-200RPMs up and down.

When the car is on its way to warming up, it idles fine, but once it reaches warm, (half way on the temp gauge usually) the car does the same thing. You can kind of see in the gauge but mostly you can hear the whine from V2 go up and down slightly. its kind of annoying. it was worse with the LOUD V1 that I had.

The IACV was replaced along with the TPS as well.

Any suggestions ? all my Couplings are tight, and no boost leak at all..

I couldn't fix your brakes, so I made your horn louder

check tps voltage. What is your fuel press. at. If you raise the idle, does it go away?... It could be that you're running too rich or lean at idle.

At idle its a constant 34...doesnt raise or lower...

Im thinking once I do my 370's, JWT, and Z32MAF, this little problem will go away

I still have a similar problem. It seems to occur only in the afternoon heat and when i go through exccessive stop and go traffic. The idle will jump back and forth from 700-600rpm then die if i sit to long. The guy that tuned my car said it was leaning out before it was dying. I think my problem is attributed to either the IACV or front o2 sensor that i half way crushed

I get the same thing, but I always attributed it to having the TPS set so that the ecu thinks the throttle is open (that is, it thinks the car is cruising at a low throttle opening, not idling with the throttle closed). In this situation the ecu goes out of idle control mode and into closed loop control of the afr. The oscillation up and down coincides perfectly with the afr from my wideband O2 sensor oscillating around stoich.

(The reason I have the TPS set this way is to prevent fuel cutoff during deceleration. I can't stand the jerkiness when trying to modulate the throttle at low cruising speed with the fuel cutoff going on and off.)

So you guys might want to make sure your TPS voltage isn't more than about .35 V at idle.

Or, I might be completely out in left field with this theory.
