3" Ypipe

Hey guys, I have a chance to get a 3" ypipe for my nitrous setup, however my straight pipe is 2.5", will the two bolt up together? Only reason I posted here is because I know of only one person that has run 3" on a nitrous setup, and a lot of you guys have 3" exhaust, so please do not move.

it should bolt up if the same style flanges are used on both parts. On most all flanges the same style I have seen the bolt holes line up.

So a 3" waprspeed ypipe will bolt up to a 2.5" budget straight pipe with no leaks?
