turbo exhaust
for those of you who have fabricated your own turbo setup, what kind of exhaust tubing did you use for the turbo exhaust inlet side? im having problems finding a piece of tubing that will mate with the flange. im using a t3/t4 divided flange. also what size tubing did you use? im going with a three inch for the down pipe and back, just wondering what i should use.

Are you using the stock manifolds and making a pipe to conntect them to the turbo...??? or...??? Not quite sure what you exactly need help on.
You'll obviously need a flange that meets up with the turbo and that flange will need to be welded to whatever is feeding the exhaust into the turbine housing. I wouldn't use standard exhaust tubing as it probably isn't thick enough towithstand the heat. "Weld Ls" work well and are super think and durable. Turbo manifolds can be made from that material.

i already have the flange. im sorry that i didnt clarify, im going with a forward y pipe. the footprint on the turbo is divided instead of one large opening but i got the universal weld flange that is just one opening. i was wondering what people have done inorder to get the exhaust tubing to fit in that opening nicely so that they can weld it without having to fill lots of holes, seeing as to the fact that it is not perfectly round it is rectangular with rounded edges.
