alignment poblem on stillen s/c also cobra vs. max!

any one have a allignment problem on the maxima with a stillen s/c? i think the shop told me that one of the pullys are not lining up good can this be easly fixed or is this a pain in the *** problem that i cant really do much about?..also can a almost stock cobra 99 with headers to tip exhuast beat a s/c maxima with stillen everthin (basically look at my web site) and it tells u what i have...but with no nos spry ? from eatehr of us....thanks

Did your shop say which pulley is out of alignment?

ummm...i kinda forgot but i think it was the bottom one maybe altornator or a/c one i think!

Usually when a belt is out of alignment its the blower pulley and not the tensioner and idler pulleys. We've inserted shims (thin washers) on the posts between the blower and the mounting bracket to correct the problem. If its the alternator or a/c then its not the supercharger's fault.

well it is the pully on the blower! thats the belt that it wearin alil but u are sayin that i would have to put washers on the post and mount to make it stright

Umm...either it'd be close, or you'd lose most likely. They have RWD, but you have a slight weight advantage. Honestly there's no way of telling accurately, because you're not telling us how much power each of you is making (it's too hard to guess). Just race and find out, like you've been told in your post in another forum.
