emanage problems

Finally E manage is going on the car, but all connections are made and I can't get my comp to down load the update file. I have the com port set at com 3 , and the comp says it is online. When i try to down load the file it only gives me one file to choose from in the Emanage folder. GSC01.p is the only file available. It starts to download but after 6 or so min. a box pops up saying that down load was unsuccessful. Any ideas as to the prob? While wiring I have 2 wire unused, a purple and a yellow, on the main harness. Then the additional injector harness has two wires unused, green/red, and white/red.

I would deff say your laptop is not communicating. My laptop did the same exact thing as yours was doing. I was using a serial to usb adapter. I solved the problem by downloading the corrrect driver for the adapter and after that everything worked fine.

Are you using a adapter or just using the emanage capble that is provided?

im using a serial adapter, but it has worked fine for my zeitronix data logger. Ill reload then ad see what happens. I was finally able to get the unit to link up and update the program, but now im going into the settings to change the parameters at idol and nothing is happing. Do you have to hit update every time you change a box or does it happen automatically?

you have to save the changes to each map and then export the data to the emanage unit from what i remember. I always made changes with the car off, then saved the changes then exported the data

yeah, I think any changes in the parameters screen need to be exported to the unit, but simple changes to the maps can be done "live"

now we're making progress! Now my LT is linking up to the e-manage. But now i keep getting an input error. on the left hand colmum of the AR map I've got some crazy numbers 112, -63 ,19,-1,-1,-1,-1, ect. What do these mean? I thought they were % of throddle voltage.
