sard fpr vs aeromotive

hey the sard needs a fuel pressure gauge in the cabin like on the pillar. while the aeromotive comes with a gauge that mounts onto the fpr itself. Is it just as good to have the gauge on the fpr as it is to have it on the pillar? thanx

An in cabin FP gauge will allow you to monitor FP as u drive where as the gauge on the FPR won't. Your choice here as to how in depth you plan on monitoring your engine. FYI, you can mount a gauge to the SARD as well; it doesn't have to be on the A-pillar.

i have both. one on the fpr and one in cabin. the one on the fpr lets you set it. the one in cabin helps monitor whats going on under boost.

An in cabin electronic FP gauge has nothing mechanicially to do with the AFPR. A good one costs around $150-$200 and there is really no reason why SARD would include an in cabin one. Since they are independant units one can purchase a SARD AFPR and then purchase an electronic FPG of thier choice.
