Hmmmmm....i Don't Knowww....
Next time I have my ecu out, I'll try to remember to open it up and take a picture.
Has anybody tried to contact this guy?
He wants $300 for the chip only??? Most of the initial cost is the labor in desoldering the old chip and soldering a chip socket in. After that it's $100 for a reflashed chip.

I thought JWT removes the oem chip and installs their socketed version? I also thought if you buy a nos program, then it requires a daughter board with it's own chip installed?
But like it's been mentioned, there are ALOT of conflicting statements that don't add up to really trust this person.

That's what I thought.
Socketing the stock ECU isn't that hard, I'm sure any electronics shop/person could do it.
Also, copying the EEPROM is easy if you have the right equipment for that type of chip.

They use a daughter board, which is really the hard part. Like Iceyhot said, the software to read and change the parameters then burn the chip is the easy part.

Hey that's my kitchen counter and my ECU, thief! Actually it's lurchdogg's ECU now

Anyways yeah, the auction itself looks very very fishy, but it looks like the original poster wasn't even interested in the auction. He just wanted to know if anyone knew of this supposed canadian 500hp maxima.
DAM.. I wish I could read the numbers of that chip...
But whats got my head scratching is:
1. stage 5 turbo kit???
2. 25lbs of boost ???
3. running over 500hp???
WOW.. That must be one built motor with tons of money under ther hood. I would never thought that the block could handle such loads.
He must be quoting fakespeed numbers? Don't trust it...
