I wasnt getting any kind of code from my car before I put in my JWT...now Im getting an EVAP canister code but I dought that there is really something wrong

What years dont have the canister ??
when JWT sent my computer back, it wasnt the same one I sent in, thats why I think they sent me a different year, maybe a different year with a problem in the ECU

I got an evap code because a couple of my sensors were not seeing vacuum. Figure out which one it is.

Go to the 4th gen ecu codes thread. there are a lot of problems with that code, not necessarily JWT related.

 

Some 95's had differ EVAP systems than 96-98

 

Yea well the code started right after I installed the JWT, so im guessing that they sent me the wrong year ECU and its not matching up for some unknown reason

that sux, sounds like its safer to buy a ecu to send too jwt

 

they claim there is no reason why i wouldnt have my stock ecu sent back to me, so why am i getting that code ????

 

thats bs. they have a shelf full of a32 ecus and just grab one when you make your first call and then put yours on the shelf.

 

I got my exact ECU back when I had my NA program done a few years back. But I specifically requested that and they probably did not have any 5spd I30 ECU's laying around either.

 

And it gets shipped across the world 4 times before it gets to you.
