solution to v2 kit?
ok, so ive been hearing about the v2 supercharger kit eating up belts and melting pulleys. i was just wondering if anyone knows a solution to this problem. i talked to matty and he gave me some ideas, but i figured id post and see what i could get. thanks!

1) get metal pulleys (steel preferably) from ASP
2) not all people have V2 kits that eat up belts... usually happens to people who "just" swapped to smaller pullies. I've been lucky so far even with my 3.12" one.
Aside from that...search

ok cool, yeah, i did a little bit of searching, i assumed asp pulleys would be a good idea, besides that, matty told me that if you used to v1 plate on a v2 it would run perfect. ill keep looking though.

Yes, you can install one on the auto. Weaker tranny = Stillen not wanting to take responsibility if your tranny fails, not that they would, but they decided to police people by not advertising the kits for autos. Just like they said you could not use a Y-pipe with a 4th gen S/C on an auto, because it produced too much tq for the tranny to handle (there words, not mine)

the tranny is bigger, that is why they do not know it if fits or not.
chris'smax is auto.

mine is auto also, it does fit you just can't use the bracket for the air filter to the frame. also you will need to upgrade your tranny i bought a bullet proof kit from maximum tuning and it's been awesome.
