Wanted to see who has surpassed the 300ft lbs of torque with a SCer? if yes what size pulley do you currently have?

I am planning to put on a SCer I got with a 2.87 pulley and wanted to see if anyone around here has hit 300ft lbs of torque.

I know going from 338 ft lbs of torque plus to a SCer may suck!

I hit 285 lb-ft with the 2.87" pulley. I think I might be able to reach 300 with a 3" exhaust.

there is two people that I know of that have surpassed 300lbs of torque numbers. But it was more then just a SCer. Seems like I am going to have to go that route. Thats why I left the SCer the first time and went turbo. That turbo pulls very hard!

I just took a look at my dyno. I'm actually at 295 lb-ft, uncorrected.

You should disconnect the cat/straight pipe next dyno to see what gains would be had from an eCutout/VES.

ok why is it that Jap cars always make more horsepower than torque is there a way to switch that or is it better thatway i know with displacement (V8's) it can be done easily

Because domestic pushrod V8s can't rev much past 5200 rpm. If you can't reach higher rpm than that, you will always make more torque than hp. But there is also a difference in philosophy involved. American car buyers have always appreciated low end grunt more than high end power.

No doubt, if I got 6 hp from a cutout N/A, over a 2.5 inch b-pipe and straight thru muffler, then your gains would be huge.
