Where can I source a reverse Y-Pipe?

Anyone here know if there is anyone who makes them I can source from?
Same with the exhaust downpipe on a Turbo setup.

Not being lazy and saying "I can't do it myself" - just wondering if I'd be re-inventing the wheel if I did it myself because someone else already does it for a reasonable price.....

Oh - wait - I guess that is the definition of lazy.

Have you tried contacting PFI? How about building your own forward y pipe, instead of a reverse one?

And you ugys all made yours custom?

If so - what'd you do? Just hack off the two seperate pieces of the Y at the headers then go from there?

I don't have any GOOD pics of mine, there might be some floating around that hal took though. Brad92se and maxmaxima91 both posted a ton of pics of their setups in here though.

Yeah - I did a search and Hal apparently had some - but they're red x'es now.

If you could get some pics just to give me (and everyone) some info - that would be sweet.

oh yeah.. all the pipes are done by a very reputable manufacture here in the US. all pipes will be stainless steel and tig welded. no cutting corners on this one. the down pipe will have flex sections. pix will come next week.

Forward Y-Pipe or reverse?

Seems Forward is the way to go.

Yes, forward offers reduced piping from the motor to the turbo but there is also more involved in running a forward set up. Neal for exaple has to run an much smaller aftermarket radiator and fan because of his turbo mounting location. I think Brad was able to keep his stock radiator and fan with his forward set up. Reverse is easy to run, but can really hurt ground clearance if not made with tight dimensions

That's why I suggested brad or jeremy's setup rather than mine. mine is rather impractical as far as relocation of items, but it probably offers the best flow of any of the setups i've seen.

The only reason to use a "reverse" Y is that people can use most of the Y pipe. Otherwise it just makes for a Jungle Jim set of pipes. Much cleaner to do a forward type.

my design will allow the use of stock radiator and fan. pretty much the only thing that needs to be modified is the battery tray, and trying to do it without having to remove the battery tray. but the battery does have to be relocated to the trunk. i'm building a universal kit that will fit both manuals and automatics. if i wanted to build a kit just for manuals, i could make it so the battery does not need to be relocated but that's not the case.

the feed pipes are going to be close to equal length for optimal performance.

sit tight, pix will come soon.. i'll be taking orders very very soon.

What type of flanges? Do we get a choice of T3/T4?

<I may be asking this question incorrectly>

Ignore the last PM I sent you.

i'm going to start a poll early next week as to what the standard will be.. but the wastegate flange will be for the tial 38mm. and i'll decide on the turbo flanges once i get enough responses.. but so far i'm leaning towards a t3/t043 hybrid flanges because to me that seems like the most "street friendly" set up.
