Okay that sounds good, I would rather not have it vent to the atmosphere either. For the intercooler piping, Im going to try to make it on my own so that is same side inlet and outlet. This way it will avoid having the cool side piping going over a hot exhaust manifold.

T3 flange and T4 flange are totally different. The difference in flange shape is what MAKES it a T3 or T4. You can't use one flange and have it work on both T3 and T4 turbine sides. They are not the same dimensions.

If its a T3/T4 flange then that must mean its a T3 flange and a T4 compressor. Mingo, the manufacturer will be able to weld which ever flange we need?

it's hard to explain but once it's done i'll have pix and u guys will know what i'm talking about, and by that i mean the exhaust feed pipe flange, either way i can have which ever flanges welded on for u guys, u'll just have to specify what size turbo you're running and what style downpipe flange you have, v-band, 5 bolt or 4 bolt or whatever. we have the CAD drawings for all of those so it'll be laser cut and tig welded and we have a few turbos to test fit em' with

Same side inlet and outlet would be tricky because of the lack of room. Just thinking back to my install I can't think of how it could be done without some ingenious piping and removal of parts. There was hardly a place to run one pipe through the front sheet metal. You don't have to run the cold side infront of the motor, you can run the hot side there. That is how mine is.

I havent got a chance to really look at how I will run the pipes exactly but I was thinking that cold pipe can run in the area of where a CAI would be and the hot pipe can come through where the battery used to be. Ill have to look into it some more, but if it turns out to be difficult Ill just go with the other way.

Do you have any pics of his setup? Did you pick out an intercooler yet? I have been trying to find one but could not get one that I really like.

vecco sells the verticle mount intercooler that has different side inlets, that'll make the install way easier

well there's already 2 pipes being run where the turbo is, on the driver's side, making it hard to fit 2 more pipes there, unless you don't have foglights, which would simply things

i personally won't be doing that because i'm not sure how much the intercooler would help during a frontal collision.

this kit has been designed with safety in mind too =D

except the manufacture is taking forever.

i'm not trying to hold out on you guys. the thing is, i got a manufacture to build the kits and he's tied up right now and that makes things harder for me. but it's still getting worked on, just a little here and there. this was what i was affraid of when i first posted it.. i know i should have kept this quiet until everything was built. i apologize for the delays. but once the fixture is built then the kits will be on sale and they will be produced swiftly.

I really dont want to get rid of my front bumper support so maybe I will just run the charger piping the normal way.

mmm. Still wanna keep the manufacture anoynomous? hehe. Maybe we can all give them a call. J/K

I hope you haven't dump too much money into the fixture. I would hate to see you get screwed over because of an unreliable manufacture and we all having to find our own source of piping. Let us know if anything new turns up.

Thanks again mingo for putting the effort to try and make this happen. Looks like I'm not the only one whose just waiting on the piping to finish the kit. I really hope this goes thru and save me the trouble of buying separate bends and welding them together. Lets hope we hear some good news tomorrow.

good news, i went down there today.. and i got to work on it myself. so everything is exactly the way i like it and it looks pimping.. there is great ground clearance and everything looks great.. this thing Looks great and will work great too.. the prototype is completely done as of today, so it should be a matter of 2 weeks before i can start taking orders.. i don't want to presale anything until i get these running on my test cars. pix will come very soon.

awsome, how much do you expect the ceramic coating to be? I might go with the jet hot coating over the ceramic.

since the pipes are going to be made out of SS you really don't need to coat it, but if you really want ceramic coating would be your best bet. it looks alot better..

him and i are going over the figures right now since it turned out to be alot harder than we anticipated. we re-did this thing a few times just so it'de be perfect.. so the official pricing isn't out yet.. but i already have a ball park figure in my head.
