ignition harness(not necessity, but useful!)

and just remember to set the injector value differences from 370cc as the original and of course 550cc as the new value. one mistake a few guys(myself included) made is to use the stock Maxima value with the Z MAF instead of the Z32's 370cc as the original injector value.

Retard ignition timing...

Maybe map sensor and harness to if you want to tune by MAP.

how much power do you plan to make?? you don't really need to pull timing until 10-11psi so you technically wouldn't need the ignition harness until then, but why not pick one up I say. the MAP sensor isn't bad to have either, but with you using the Z MAF/550s its not necessary right now either since you won't really exceed the Z MAF very soon and need to tune by MAP.

15lbs?? have you done any upgrades to your transmission?? you will need the ignition harness as well because you will have to pull timing after 11psi

and Venom injectors don't have the best reputation at all in the import world, I'd watch them VERY closely. I would have spent the extra money and gone with the injectors Mike's brother makes...we ran a set of his 590s in Redmax's car with no issues.

Nismos are fine but expensive, go with these..like I said we used a set of his 590s on a turbo max with no issues-->

IMO there is no definite amount of timing to pull, but its been discussed before look back through a few of the emanage threads in the forum

you can buy any clutch you want, but the stock 5spd tranny internals won't last past 14psi(from what i have seen and experienced)....3rd gear will be the first to go.

i gotta look for that thread about timing but i have a lsd from 2001 if that makes any difference , i have to buy raxles also ,do you think i have to get both sides or just the driver's,,, i'm not really planing on running past 15 psi but i'm planning on using nitrous up top when my efficiency starts to fall off <i have that turbo http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=423912>

Be careful of 3rd gear if you really run that much power though it. You only need the driver's side axle. Get deatschwerks injectors forget the nismos unless you like paying extra for the same thing.

The timing harness has two functions. One is to retard timing to keep the car from detonating when cylinder pressures and temps get too high. That keeps you from buring holes in the piston tops, and burning a valve. Generally this retardation isn't needed until you get up in the 11 psi rating that was mentioned before.

Secondly is the potential for additional power. There are only two ways to make power, Cylinder pressure, and ignition timing. The turbo takes care of the cylinder pressure and the timing harness allows you to let the piston go down a little more before the spark fires. When my car was on the dyno I was able to gain 40hp at 6psi just by backing some timing out between 3500, and 6500rpms. We had the afr set using the maf adjustment, and the additional injection harness, all of a sudden we backed out some timing and she opened up.

The ignition harness isnt required, but the Emanage has potential that you are not using. Its just a few dollars more go ahead and pick one up. Just make sure you get the updated software before it is installed, other wise you could melt the coil packs.
