What do you think will be different about an aftermarket BOV on a 5th gen as opposed to that on a 4th gen? It doesn't matter what generation vehicle it's on, the installation won't differ.

Since the piping is different, the location would be different as well, don't you think. Also I just want to see some pictures of the SCed set up on 5th gens, pretty much that's it.

bov is located right in front of the throttle body, where the one is that comes with the kit. It is not going to change location unlesss you change it!

Yes. Stillen kits come with a Bosch recirculation valve.

On 4th gen kits you can replace the recirc valve with an aftermarket bov that vents to atmosphere. The 5th gen kits use a draw-through setup for maf placement, so if you replace the recirc valve with a bov that vents metered air to atmosphere, you may have afr problems at idle and during shifts.

If the piping is different then it stands to reason that the placement would be different. I just don't understand why you want to see it other than if you just enjoy looking at 5th gens with BOVs for some reason. Just imagine whichever BOV you find appealing in the location that the Bosch recirc valve occupies, or alternately, whichever location you feel appropriate.

I still don’t understand why you post unless you have some helpful information for me. You ask too many questions which shouldn’t even concern you at all. I’ve been a member for some time now, and never had a problem with anybody. If you just want to post something, ask something that would make this thread more interesting. If you have any more question, please send me an e-mail and I’ll be more then glad to explain whatever it is you what to know in a different way if you don’t understand me.

It’s a totally different story with you now. Where you come from with that remark, my suggestion for you is to watch you mouth.

So did anybody successfully replace the recirc valve with a BOV that vents metered air to atmosphere? I would really appreciate any information that you can provide. I would like to thank you in advance.

Because I'm trying to understand why it is you are looking for such a picture? You're being all vague and non-descript about why you want to see this and it has me curious. The more you avoid my question about what your reasoning is for looking for such a setup, the more curious it makes me. I just don't understand why you are so interested in such a specific picture, and what info you think that picture is going to provide for you.

I would like to thank everyone for all of the help. Please don't get me wrong with this question that I asked. The reason for this thread was for me to get a basic idea on the set up of the supercharger on 5th. gen. If anyone would like to add anything else about this subject, please do so. I would like to learn more about supercharging 2000-2001 since I am planning on doing so.
