Install Z32 maf and 500c injectors before or after?

I was wondering would it be okay to run a z32 maf and 500cc injectors before installing the turbo? The reason I ask is I want to make sure that they both work and also that it would be 2 less things to troubleshoot when/if something were to go wrong during my turbo install. Also my current MAF may be shot so I prefer not to get another stocker if this would do.
I understand I would be running horribly rich (already have my 255 walbro installed) but I do have a AFPR and SAFC to fix some of the richness. So would it be okay for me to do this, turbo install would come about 2-4 weeks afterwards (waiting on turbo piping).

I would Recomend doing it before, like you said less thinks to touble shoot with the turbo installed. Will run fine, when your not boosting your car is running just like a naturally asperated car. I installed my injectors 1500 miles before the turbo. was glad, because i had a few problems in that time (crap venom injectors). Good luck

I was wondering the same thing. What will need to be done to make it run OK? Since going with bigger injectors and the Walbro it will definity run richer and from what I understand, it will dump too much fuel on starts. Can this be fixed just by lowering base fuel pressure?

I hope so but I also have a safc and a wideband o2(probably waiting for the turbo pipe to install). I think running stock fp would be a safe route. I really am not comfortable lowering the FP without know what the A/F is so if that doesn't work, I may have to lower the pressure slightly.

I just finish my install like 10 mins ago. Everything is running just fine, I do however feel that the car is running pretty rich (like its suppose to) at stock pressure but I think I'll stick with it for now. I took pics also if anyone was interested.
BTW the screws holding the caps were a PITA to loosen, I ended up strip all but like 4 of them so I bought some same size bolts so no more screw driver for me.

You gotta use a pair of small vice grips to break the screws loose first.

I did it before on my turbo install for that exact reason, one less thing to trouble shoot. I had a couple of gaskets tear on the fuel injectors too, causing flooding, so I'm glad I did it before installing the turbo (damn cheap RC injector O-rings) I had a few issues to work out after the turbo was installed, so it deffinetly helped knowing it was not caused by the injectors or MAF.

I recently tried out the Z32 MAF just to see how it would run and if it was okay. I installed it running the stock injectors/ECU and it was extremely lean. Around 3-4k+ it would lean out to 16+ so I just took it out right away. Did anyone else install a Z32 MAF only without injectors? My wideband reads around 10-11 AFR on the stock MAF.

That is exactly what should happen. Not a good idea to go WOT like that. Just cruising around would probably be fine though

Yea, I didnt go above 4k and stopped right after I realized it was dangerously lean. Dont think I was to the point of actually damaging anything.
