why do injectors wait to leak

ok well got my car back running ok for now intill dyno. Since the motor rebuild, adding, cams ,370cc injectors, and fpr. Ok well I drove it up and down my road for a while and did not get to far off from home. well every thing went fine. So i get enough ***** to ride accross town to where all my friends was. ok shut the car off and went to crank it back up to leave and boom it was skipping realy bad. SO i check the fuel pressure and show enough it drops on the gauge fast. But I wonder why dont they leak at first and why it a takes a while for them to do so. I went through this when I put my 259cc injectors in a while back.

dunno man but i sure does suck... ive had it happen to me and my buddy a few times... Stupid Side feed injectors... i would recomend once there fixed before you put the manifold back on preasurise the Fuel system and if they dont leak Wiggle all of them inthe fuel rail while under pressure, just to make sure the lower Injector seals are seated correctly. thats basically the only way ive found to try and be sure there right before you put it all back togeather.

Good luck.

man you got worse luck than me.... you might want to get all brand new nissan OEM seals for the injectors if you already havent. ive found that some of the aftermarket ones suck and are to small
