Oh the joys of a turbo I30
So my beater car took a crap on me at work the other day. Will start fine but when put into gear it dies and won't start agian for 20 minutes or so. Must be flooding for some reason. So I drove the I30 with it's summer tires to work yesterday. It was nice and clear in the morning, didn't check the weather report before I left. We get hit with 8" of snow while I am at work. Now my turbo car is stuck in the snow at work and parked next to it is my broken down beater car.

I had to drive to Naperville with my GF Explorer to take her to work so I could have a vehicle to drive
Looks like be in a parking lot wrenching on the sable in the cold and snow.

that what you get for having a sable as a beater
dont quote me on this but the sable and max might have the same wheel bolt pattern so you might be able to swap the sable tires on the front of the max and drive it. i know what its like to try to drive in snow with performance summer tires i had to change my front tires just so i could get out of my drivewasy to go to school about 2 years ago

Not a huge fan of the car either, but got it for $300 and you can't beat that.

Been there done that. Before purchasing my Maxima as a daily driver, I drove my Mustangs around in the winter with the exception of my winter beater that usualy didnt start when it was cold out, go figure. God was that awful, could never get anywhere. Not only does it snow and the roads get bad, but rolling hills everywhere. Ridiculous.

Hahahahaha....now I lost the one and only key to the beater. Thank God for AAA. It's only costing me $25 for a locksmith to come out and make me a new key. I think I just need to get a 10 speed and be done with it.

Man it sounds like you need a hug! Hook him up Slimer. Thats a long drive for me. How is this for a beater, 89 sea foam green Pontiac Firebird with 308,000 miles with a set of FBG euro TAs . Fcker starts every time, even after sitting 6 months. Just got to get the dam thing to pass emissions. It needs to pass cuz the Trailer ****** down here love it!
