What to do for tuning

Im looking at finally getting my car dynoed someday hopefully soon. I am looking at either getting a VAFC of SAFC reason for the VAFC i might get a Vi soon so i could control it with that. OR should i just buy a JWT ECU but it doesnt have the sc'er program on it yet. So for $100 i could add that but would the car be safe running with the JWt ecu and the sc'er? Info on the car, V1 sc'er 3.125 pulley, no wideband o2, stock injectors and stock MAF sensor.

Since you're running stock injectors I would say vafc II.

The only reason that i was thinking the jwt is because i have a 99 and the one that is up for sale (i think its still for sale) is already set up for the 99. With the ecu i dont have to mess with any wireing, but its also around $500 more then the vafc. Thanks for the input so far though.

ok you have a 99 which means even though it's set up for your year that does not mean your car in 99 they had like 20 ecu choices thats why it's hard nearly impossible to tune thru the ecu just get an apexi afc and you'll be much happier alot less stress, i used to have a 99 myself.....

None of the above. Origionaly I used a SAFCII and a FMU bu that was too crude for my taste. I have moved to an Emanage with timing adjustments, and 570 injectors.

If you ever decide to upgrade injectors etc, the emanage isn't extreme, if anything it's a little bit more safe because of timing issues.

Wait till about Feb. when they figure out how to get the Emanage Ultimate up and running to read crank signal. Thats gonna be some sweet action
