Next steps for the SC setup

I'm gathering all the parts for this upgrade. Right now I have the cartech FMU, SAFC2, 3.25" Pulley, V2 Blower on V2 plate, Walbro 255 in tank pump and mevi already installed on the car. I have the 3inch charge pipe set up ready to go, just need this BOV flange welded on. I plan on the CAI shortly.

My desired setup will be 2.87" pulley, 410 or 430cc injectors, z32 maf, cartech fmu, safc2, walbro 255 pump, A32 ECU. 3 inch charge pipe, and 3 inch exhaust. Contemplating the V1 conversion also for belt contact....maybe lightened crank pulley as well (UR ultra SC). Talk to me guys, i have some left over money from, well lets say a lottery drawing or something, lol, regardless... J&S safeguard was recommended also...

My question, I know the cartech fmu is not going to do anything for my base fuel pressure, is there another device i can use to maintain a normal fuel pressure and deal with the injectors? i will need an additional fmu for base fuel pressure right?? what fmu can handle that job alone?

Or very simply, is there someone else on here with this exact set up i can speak to about problems, solutions. lets be honest, u can read stickies all day, no one is going to have the same exact set up as you all the time in the stickies . Thanks in advance for the help. I want to avoid leaving my tuning up to an ecu program. i dont want to run "good enough" i want the car tuned very well, 11.5, 12:1 type of tuning. Thanks.

I would recommend a simple aftermarket fuel pressure regulator you put in line with the FMU. Youll need the Stand off fitting, Fuel pressure regulator and fuel lines. With that, you can lower base fuel pressure becuase with the Wablro, youll be bumped to 40ish at idle.

If your realling worried about tuning, get a wideband controller. Innovate, Zeitronix, PLX500....all good units and will come in handle alot. You can always get Emanage and dump the Cartech for a perfect tune as well.

A V1 Convertion plate would be nice too ...

Don't bother with the crank pulley is the advice I have. Whatever it costs is more than the 0.5 hp you will get is worth.

You might want to invest in a wideband setup.

http://www.sx7r.com/

SARD or AEM

You will also need the fuel rail off fitting.
