can't wait to see where this goes...I gotta say once all said and done fully tuned and dialed in, with water/alcohol injection and the cutout open...400whp is definitely not out of the question...!

Sorry for the delay on the update guys but there hasn't been much progress lately. Between the shop being busy and me waiting for parts to come in it has been a slow process. The motor has been pulled and we are starting to tear it down. The main hold up has been the cams i am using. I have a set of JWT cams i got from one of my buddies that i want to use, but the problem is i want to get a x-ray done on them to make sure there are no hairline cracks in them(longgggg story). So we have been waiting about a week and a half now on getting a x-ray done by a local guy. They should be done on wednesday. IF they come back fine the swap will commence and should be done by saturday or next monday. If the cams come back showing a fracture the i am going to order 3.5L NISMO cams

Just wanted to let you guys know so you all didn't think i was stunting

We require progress pictures! Even if there are no updates, at least give us teaser pics.

Sounds awesome.. But i dont know if you guys heard that SSR already made a turbo kit for the 3.5. its already been tested and everything.. they said its 350 wheel hp and can be cranked up to like 450 hp.. to the crank.. As much as the damn maxima's are so torquey, i'd like to get off the line first and then let the power kick in.

Seriously doubt it....it's the way the cams were drilled for sure.

The timing is different with the 3.0 timing equipment but that was all installed correctly. The cams he was using were drilled incorrectly.

he used the stock cams didn't he?
After the fact.

Last I spoke to him he was still working on it. He just had hell with going thru a few cams (drilled wrong), until he found some that would finally work. I think he is passed that problem and now trying to get it started.
That was about 2 weeks ago.

Yesterday, he's got the car running good with stock cams. I doubt it that he's going to boost it. There's more, but I don't wanna spread any more rumors if he changes his mind. lol...
