Emanage Maps
Emanage Maps
I finally took the plunge and boosted my Max. I actually bought Bag's kit.
I had it all installed on the weekend, with a couple of small oilpan & exhaust problems. I got those fixed yesterday, but now I'm having problems tuning my Emanage.
I'm running 8psi on 370cc injectors at 36psi fuel (43 @ WOT)
Still have the Stock MAF(working on getting a Z32)
Would anyone have any maps that might come close to what I'm running?
I've been trying to set mine, but it seems that I'm running too lean in the 1500-3000 range and too rich in the 3500-6500 range. It seems like no matter what I change my maps to, it always runs the same with a .5 AFR variation.

Are you using emanage blue or ultimate?
How rich and lean is it running - AFR #s?
How much correction do you have in there and on which maps? TPS, Add Inj, etc.
Take a screen shot of your maps and post it here is probably the easiest thing to do. Also, are you sure you have the injector harness hooked up correctly?

I'm running the blue.
I played with it some more and I have it down to 9.0 as the richest and 12.9 as the leanest before boost.
While in boost its always in the 9.0-10.5 range.
the corrections in the air flow maps are everywhere from 5-45 to get it running this decent. not running additional injection. running of the TPS.
Injector harness is hooked up correctly because it was having no problems at all before tuning it while I was N/A.
I will have to get some screenshots later when I get on my other computer.
I think I can get it tuned it will just take lots and lots of time doing some tweaking.
I was just hoping someone might have a base map that I could start my tuning with in hopes it might be closer than mine.
You don't want to make corrections that large on the TPS map. Basically the TPS map alters the MAF signal the same way that an S-AFC does, which indirectly affects your timing. Large corrections like that could be significantly affecting your ignition timing.
You want your TPS map to be your partial throttle cruising map, and your Add Inj map to be the map that takes care of your fuel needs when you are WOT or even partial throttle boosting.

OK, I'll have to try some more tuning keeping that in mind.
I'm trying to get ahold of a local company who has a dyno. I'de love to take it to them and sit down and tune it on a dyno. The guy is well known for tuning 600-700whp civics, so I think he can handle the Max lol

have you scaled down the injectors in the parameter settings menu? That will fix most of the problem. You are trying to make big adjustments to the MAF signal ,and the car tries to over correct. Put the factor incecter size in the first box, (I used 270) then the injector size that you moved to, 370, and reset all MAF adjustments to zero and start again slowly working your way to boost.
My tuner deals with 600 HP EVOS and was confused as a baby raccoon in a burlap sac.
