Emanage Ultimate is in !!
Well the car runs. I am getting 02 01 Code Ignition Signal Circuit.
I am currently running really rich on start up (10:1-11:1) and during regular Warm idle. I havnt had the car out for a ride yet so I cant really tell you how it behaves on the road.
My setup is S/C, Z32 MAF (charged side), Z32 Injectors (370cc), AEM FPR, Cartech FMU (Will be coming out tomorrow).
If I mess around with any of the settings like the I/J tab and changed the injectors from 260-370, the car goes really really lean and starves itself and I pretty much have to shut the car off. I tried changing the MAF to the DETT but it doesnt let me. What am I doing wrong ?
This is kinda just an update because tomorrow I have to take out my Cartech FMU, and wire in the MEVI, Pressure sensor and the WB. I just dont know where to go from here.
What do you guys think ??

firmware
Dandy,
Have'nt been on here in a while... Did I miss something or did Greddy finally release the latest firmware for the vqdet/k? Last I read they sent you a prototype of it but it wasnt ready for public release yet. Thanx...

It hasnt been released yet. The firmware 1.14 is out but the latest will be a bit longer.
I had to install resistors inside the EU to do away with the code 02 01. Hasnt come back yet and I think its gone for good. Wired up 6 (330 ohm 1/2 watt resistors) to each IGN input Post inside the EU.

BTW: I will have some pictures up tomorrow of my install. I still have to mount it. Ill mess around with that tomorrow. Its gonna look real clean

My Orginal Plan was to Slide it in above the ECU but its not going to make it. Underneath the ECU either.
Well I would like to attempt to Mount it like this but I dont know how I am going to achieve this:

Here is what the mounting Surface looks like. I was thinking just strapps but nothing really to attach to. Any ideas guys ??

Holy mass of wires. Good to see you workin on this project. Ill prob be doing the same when i get back from FL at the end of the summer. Has anyone figured out the raised rev limit yet? I have picked up on any new results. Anyway, good luck with it, hope it works out well for ya.
Maybe could try making a new bracket for the ecu or possibly bending the current bracket down? There seems to be a decent amount of space under the ecu, would moving the ecu closer to the floor provide enough room to mount the EU on top of it?

Glove box is kinda stupid. Some people like it, I just dont

matty - I'm not sure what type of town you live in, but if you mount the EU where it is visible you might want a paging alarm. Where I live electronics theft is huge, (ie, I couldn't leave an eu or even safc in plain view without fear of my car getting broken into).
But, congrats on the smooth install, thats alot of wiring to do

Thats Dandy's EU board, but mine looks just like that. I used (6) 330ohm 1/2 watt resistors from radio shack, all wired inline, all going to the same ground.

thanks now i just need to find the shematic to figure out what goes where
coz whit the tube shrink i cant see
I just open mine to see if ive got the IC soldering problem , i am good i got the new version board ,

LOL. JUst teasin' Matty... for learning as you go you've done really well.
Matty there is a bar behind the glove box at the bottom you might be able to anchor some sort of long angle bracket to or shelf to hold the EU, but not sure how well it'd work or how sturdy it would be. Other than that I'm not sure there's a way to adequately fix the EU under there without drilling through the interior into the center dash support. I'd have to look on my own car to get a better idea. Although I haven't decided yet I may put mine in the bottom DIN slot below the stereo, in behind the stock compartment with the flip down front. That way it'd be out of sight but plainly in sight and accessible by flipping down the panel. But we'll see.. I may yet come up with a better place.
