I was just wondering what our oil pressure should be at, and does it change from idle to wot?

I tried doing some more seaching but have still come up nothing more.

in my VG at idle i have about 10 psi and at redline its like 50-60.. dont really know for sure because i never look at that point. crusing its around 30-35 depending on rpm. Oil pressure is a direct ratio to RPM

 

I see about 95-100psi near redline at WOT in the VE.

I remember searching and finding that several VQ30DEs are around 80-90psi, I think.

at WOT I am not sure, but it is lower than the VE. 50-60 sounds right. I would have to look in the FSM.

 

Oil pressure is a function of RPM, not throttle angle.
