Simple AFR Readout...

Is there a simple and accurate AFR readout available? I heard there was a simple box-looking screen with AFR/EGT that you just probe into your Y pipe with and have the monitor in cabin. It isn't as expensive as a wideband 02 I would assume. Any links? Sources? Thanks.

Without the display u'll need a laptop. You would still need to buy the egt probe but other than that, it'll come with the wideband to read AF already.

I'm trying not to bring my laptop in the car with me.

Something like this:

http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/i...d16-p-121.html

Anyone have this? Reviews? Trying to get something where I don't need the laptop.

just to clearify, you still need to purchase the display. $279 is just for the unit but with everything its still cheaper then 95% of everything out there.

Ok ,well I went with the Zeitronix Black LCD bundle with the boost sensor. I know it wasn't cheap but, blah. Might as well.

That PLX looks nice and sleeper for real. Nice. Where did you guys put your EGT probes? SInce I got a new Y pipe I can install the probe anywhere on there. Should it be before or after any particular 02 sensors? As close to the engine as possible? Thanks.

EMU can datalog AFR and autotune with a 5v Linear output wideband. I know the PLX is, while the Zeitronix is not.

I was planning on putting a PLX M300 where my clock is exactly like that. I am glad to know it fits that well. I wasn't sure on size.

The PLX M300 does not datalog on its own, but it does have a 5v linear output that you can feed into something like the emanage to log.

It's a pretty snug fit, started to notice the opening around the trim bulge in this summer heat already too.

Cheapest I have seen to view AFR, but it does not datalog. It does have a 0-5 volt linear output though.
