size of compressor/alternator belt when ac is removed

i would have measured it myself but i didnt consider this problem until after i got back home from where my car is at. i only intend on going back to the location (2 hours from civilization) one last time to finish up my fabrication and i would really appreciate if someone could help me out on the size of the alternator belt when the ac compressor is removed (for oil drainage purposes).
