Motor Mount Question ?
Im doing my motor swap next weekend, should I be concerned about the side Motor Mount and the Trans Mount ??
I know that the front and rear are the most important, and I have the ES all ready to go in. The trans mount is fairly new, filled will poly, but the engine mount is Original and Not touched at all.
What do you guys think ??
Any Torque down patterns for the Lower Intake Manifold ?? How about the exhaust manifolds ??

The poly is going to crack out of the tranny mount. At least it did for me. The movement of the engine is in the direction that the poly has no support. Mine cracked out in less than a week. The main mounts held up great using the same filling method.
As far as torquing that stuff I don't think its a big deal. I've never done it in a special pattern and never had a problem.

I would leave the 2 side mounts stock. The front and rear poly mounts will be fine.

I might have an extra one I can ship to you for cheaper. I dont think you really need to poly it, there isnt as much force on those mount as compare to the fronts and rears. They are there more for support than anything.
PM or AIM if you are interested.

I got the both new nissan one in the mail today. I had my old one, 10 years and 140k miles, its not in too good of shape. I figure id buy two new side ones. I just was wondering If i should poly fill the new ones. Looks like no is the general concensus. For the fronts and rear I had ES pushed into two old mounts I bought. This new motor is gonna be a sweet setup
