What did you do with your old V2 plate?
What did you do with your old V2 plate?
For those that replaced their aluminum V2 mounting with matty's plate: so what did you guys do with your old plates?
Deciding whether to upgrade the plate or sell the SC kit.

Had a chat with the little missy and she didn't mind me spending some coin on the car. LoL even she hates the belt shredding! She really likes the roominess of the Max and wants me to keep the car. We've also been transporting alot of seniors and friends around lately and changing cars wasn't in the cards yet.
:o)

Anyhow I put my deposit down with matty so its a non-issue now. I still want to boost with the seniors in the back seat at breakneck speeds! Lol!

Guys with V2 plates dont really want to tinker with the alignment after shredding a belt, especially since a gatorback belts cost $40
and about 2-3 hours taking it off and reinstalling just to see it shred another belt. just my .02$

I've never had any problems. Not when my SC was on my '96, not now on my '99. Not with my 3.6" pulley, not with my 3.25" pulley and not now with my 2.87" pulley. With all due respect, I think belt problems are an SC installation and/or belt tension problem caused by the installer. Even if there was a problem, I believe mhadford had a great write-up on how to fix belt shredding problems.
