Dual 2.5" system- waste of time? More harm than good?

Dual 2.5" system- waste of time? More harm than good?

Forgive me if these are becoming ridiculous. For an FI car, would a dual exhaust (from the cat-back) be helpful? At worst, would it cause any degradation of the car's power output? Would a cutout restricting flow into the added pipe where it is not under boost be a good idea? I realize that dual systems have been done before and know some of the perils (the body isn't made for a dual exhaust system, and nor is the rear bumper, etc.) I'm just curious if as an option this is outright silly.

ill agree with that. whenever u have FI, its difficult to LACK backpressure since ur boosting but obviously if ur running 4" straight through...LOL... for any FI car, id stick to 3" generally

I think it wouold look good and you would be quite happy with it. I doubt you would see any negative hp loss since it is after the cat
