Alternative to Griffin Aluminum Radiator???

For boost, I know a lot of guys are looking for the hard to find Griffin Aluminum radiator, but I found this in the group deal forum:

Does anyone think this will be a good alternative since the Griffin is hard to come by? I know it won't be as good but seems better than stock. And for the price of $140 shipped, seems better than stock. Here are the specs:

- Koyo's plastic tank and copper core radiators offer a great alternative to the more expensive all aluminum radiator.
- Koyo Brass/Copper Radiators provide 5 - 10% more cooling than standard radiators.
- Handles high revving, high performance motors better than stock.
- Perfect for Turbo Charged, Super Charged & Nitros Oxide equipped engines.
- Custom built OEM fit - All Koyo Radiator cores and tanks are specifically designed and built for each application. No universal fit parts are used. This ensures proper fit, just like your original equipment.

Let me know what you guys think as I have a friend looking at the Griffin but would like to bring this to their attention.

That is an OEM replacement radiator. They're will be an insignificant change in cooling capability with that. I used that when my OEM rad busted. Got it locally for $110.

Griffin. I was just basing this thread on what people on the group deal forum were saying. About this being better since it has a copper core. Guess there is no substitute for the Griffin.

I have a stock replacement for my 90 240sx, and it works great. Ive went to 2 drift events, which are hardest on cooling since when your drifting the radiator isnt getting that much airflow, the temp needle never moved. I run 25coolant/75% water since Ill drain and refill before winter and it cools great. My stock rad would keep going up during my run, the koyo is much better.

Koyo makes both performance and OEM replacement rads. Lots of companies make performance rads just none for Maximas. I have a Blitz rad in my 240. C&R makes very nice custom rads. Give them a call.
