AFPR Hookup - Accufab

I just want to make sure I have the setup right because this thing has sat here so long I don't know where the general paperwork is. Any input is greatly appreciated. Also, where can I get AN-4 fittings? Which should I get, anythin special? Thanks in advance guys.

I have one and would have to double check for sure but that seem right. I got my 4 AN fiitings @ a specialty hose supplies store. They aren't all that hard to find, just a 4AN and a barb fitting on the other end.

First I think -4 is really small. Its beyond me why any aftermarket reg would have -4 ports. Thats a smaller ID than OEM lines. The fittings you need are -4 ORB's. A regular -4 fitting will work but its much better to have an -4 ORB to male -4 AN. BTW, I call 'em ORB's(for O-Ring Boss); I'm not sure what they're technically called. You should be able to find them at any serious local speed shop. Otherwise they can be ordered online.

Just for reference I run -8 from the cell to the pump. Then -8 to the rail. Then its a -6 back to the reg and cell.

-8 , -6 , -4 will all fit in the regulator? Do you have any pictures of the differences? Thanks man.

And is the way I have it set up correct?

Sorry, I wish but I do not have pics as of yet. Thats was my latest project on the car. I hope to have them up this week.

I'm not saying all that will fit into the reg. I'm saying I find it stupid that the reg has such small ports. That reg has -4 ports so the only fittings that will work for you, as long as you stick with that reg, are -4. My Aeromotive reg has -6 ports. I have -8 feed going into the rail and -6 coming out into the reg.

Honestly, I have no idea about the flow direction of that reg. All I can say is that one of those holes more than likely needs to be plugged. We have return style fuel systems. The routing is run as follows. Yours will be slightly different because you have an internal pump.

1. Out of tank and into filter.
2. Filter connects to external pump.

Now this part should be the same as yours.
3. Feed line goes directly to the rail.
4. Return line comes off rail and goes into reg.
5. Reg then returns bleed fuel back to tank.
